William Bresnick

William Bresnick has served as president of the Seaboard region, as a member of the Committee on Congregational Standards, and as a member and chair of the Public Policy/Social Action Committee. He is a past chair of USCJ’s Southeast Seaboard district and the District Leadership Committee.

After attending the New York University School of Law, Bill served almost seven years active duty as an Air Force judge advocate. Upon leaving active duty, he joined Texaco as the regional environmental counsel in Los Angeles and then moved to Washington, DC, to be its federal legislative and regulatory environmental counsel. He is now environmental/real property and energy counsel for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Bill was vice president and then president of his kehillaCongregation Har Shalom of Potomac, MD, following a stint as its men’s club president.

He is a proud husband, father and grandfather.

Bill’s term concludes in 2018.
