Wendy Bolm

Manager, Special Projects – Movement Building

Wendy Bolm is joining the USCJ as Special Projects Manager – Movement Building. They are passionate about movement work and building inclusive spaces within Conservative Judaism. They have an master’s in English from the University of New Orleans and a bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of South Florida.

Wendy has spent the last ten years working in tech, and as COO led CommitChange, a nonprofit fundraising platform, through open sourcing its codebase, the pandemic, and a successful acquisition in 2022. Since 2022 they have been the CommitChange Product Lead at Software for Good, where they also helped nonprofits and government organizations with data and technology strategy.

Now residing in Appleton Wisconsin, Wendy enjoys exploring the Midwest and is active in their local synagogue, Moses Montefiore, where they are co-chair of the Social and Cultural Committee. They are also active in Svara online and attended the Chicago Talmud Camp this summer. Much of their free time is spent reading speculative fiction, writing, and traveling.
