Rabbi Robin Foonberg
Education Specialist
Rabbi Robin Foonberg serves as the Education Specialist for USCJ. She works with synagogue lay leaders to help them envision their education programs, hire school directors, and provide curriculum and other resources. She also serves as the Executive Director of the Jewish Educators Assembly to serve education professionals in all areas of their work.
In her 30-year career as a Jewish educator, she has worked in three congregational schools and one community day school. She has a master’s degree in Jewish education from Spertus Institute for Jewish Studies and was ordained as a rabbi by the Academy for Jewish Religion in California.
She lives in Southern California with her husband, Alan. She is an avid reader, participates in geocaching, and loves to travel—especially on cruises!
