Paul Woldar
Paul Woldar is an entrepreneurial financial services executive with diverse experience acquired during 30 years on Wall Street. He is currently serving as executive director in the fixed income department of Tribal Capital Markets, a minority-owned securities dealer. He previously served as board president and consultant to Melrose Credit Union, a $2 billion organization located in Briarwood, NY. Paul is president of a privately managed foundation, for which he oversees both foundation assets and donations and has negotiated naming grants such as Schneider Children’s Medical Center, Tel Aviv for the Trauma Center and an Emory University’s Goizueta Business School Scholarship, among others in that capacity.
Paul served on the board of the Woodbury Jewish Center (WJC) for nine years (seven as treasurer). He managed a $2.4 million budget, stabilized the WJC and averted insolvency, while working tirelessly to identify new revenue sources, reduce costs and consolidate debt.
Paul and his wife Cindy, a mental health counselor at LIU Post, reside in Woodbury, NY, where they raised three wonderful children: Daniel, Jeffrey and Lauren. They also have been blessed with a beautiful daughter-in-law, Ariel.
Paul’s term concludes in 2020.
