Lori Dafilou
Lori Dafilou, FSA, currently serves as Executive Director at Congregation Beth Am Israel, located in Penn Valley, PA. She brings over 20 years of experience as an Executive Director, having served at three other congregations before coming to BAI in 2019. Prior to embarking on her career as Executive Director, Lori held a variety of positions, including in Administration, Conference Center Management, and Facilities Management.
Lori joined NAASE in 2002 shortly after accepting her first Executive Director position. She achieved her Fellow in Synagogue Administration in 2008; has chaired several NAASE’s conferences; was a regular participant in the annual Week of Study program; and has served on various committees and the Board of Trustees. In March of 2023, Lori was installed as President of NAASE.
In addition to her two devoted Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lori also has two daughters and one absolutely delicious granddaughter. When not working, Lori loves to travel and garden.
