Cara Mattison

Cara is a new USCJ Board member who lives in Potomac, MD and is a member of Congregation Beth El. Cara is a past member of Congregation B’nai Tzedek, where she served twice on the Board of Directors.

Cara is the founder of Clarify Consulting Group, LLC, a boutique consulting practice focused on helping clients achieve strategic goals through customized projects and expert facilitation. Prior to starting her own firm, she led organizational effectiveness initiatives, change management efforts, and business strategy in the hospitality, non-profit, senior living, manufacturing, and government sectors. Her past companies include Accenture, Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, Sunrise Senior Living and Marriott International.

Cara is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and earned her MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. She and her husband, Allen, are the proud parents of two children. When not working or volunteering, she loves to travel, play mahjong and is an aspiring tennis player.
