Benjy Behrman
Director of Education
Benjy Behrman serves as USY’s Director of Education, guiding teens in creating an educational vision for the movement. He is also the Director of Israel Programs, including our summer program, Yuval Yisrael, together with Ramah Israel.
After studying in a yeshiva in Israel for two years, he returned to England and studied archaeology for his bachelor’s degree, followed by a master’s in Jewish history. After making aliyah, Benjy trained professionally as a Jewish studies high school teacher and a Ministry of Tourism tour guide. He has worked for various educational institutions, including The Jewish Agency, Ramah Israel, Yad Vashem, Young Judaea Year Course, and Alexander Muss High School in Israel.
Benjy lives in Modiin with his wife, Emma, and three children, Noa, Adi, and Nadav. Benjy loves history, reading, hiking, and running.
