USCJ CEO Quoted in New York Times

Rabbi Steven Wernick, USCJ’s former CEO, was quoted in the New York Times on behalf of the Conservative Movement, speaking about the growing divide between American and Israeli Jews.

“I do not believe we can talk about a ‘gap’ between Israel and the Diaspora,” Rabbi Wernick wrote in a letter to the Israeli government. “It is now a ‘canyon.’”
