Share

Dear Friends,

USCJ’s Nominating Committee is pleased to announce that we are now accepting notification of interest for service on the USCJ Board of Directors beginning January 1, 2020. USCJ’s Directors serve up to a three year term with a limit of five terms. USCJ lay leaders will be elected by the General Assembly of Kehillot at its annual meeting scheduled for December 8, 2019 in Boston, MA.

In support of our sacred work, USCJ seeks nominees with experience in synagogue leadership, volunteer and governance experience, involvement with Jewish communal organizations, knowledge of the Conservative Movement and its organizations, strong communication skills, financial acumen, demonstrated leadership skills, and philanthropic capacity.

USCJ’s Bylaws may be found here. The biographies of current members of our Board of Directors may be found here. And other pertinent information may be found on the about page at www.uscj.org.

Anyone wishing to serve as a board member or interested in recommending a candidate, should send an e-mail message stating their interest and qualifications to me at [email protected] on or before August 15, 2019.

We look forward to your continued support and partnership.

Best,

Margo Gold

Chair, Nominating Committee
Immediate Past International President
