9 Ways to Maximize Your 20/20 Judaism Experience

We are just a few weeks away from 20/20 Judaism, a collaborative convention of USCJ and the Rabbinical Assembly. While you can find schedules, speakers, and pertinent details of the convention on our website, use this guide to discover 9 extra ways to truly maximize your 20/20 experience.

1. Join the 20/20 Judaism club on The Commons before you arrive. As we get closer to the convention, resources and additional information will be posted for club members. It's a great way to stay informed on convention news, post questions, and connect with other attendees. Not yet a member of The Commons? Click here to request access.

2. Network. Network. Network. - One of the greatest values of your USCJ affiliation is a prime opportunity to connect with other leaders from across North America. There will be representatives from over 220 congregations in attendance. Use this time to expand your network, exchange ideas, and learn together.

3. Share on Social Media. - Document your 20/20 experience by posting photos, videos, and your own experiences from the convention. Share in your synagogue newsletter and local media. Don’t forget to tag @2020judaism and @UnitedSynagogueCJ...and be sure to use the hashtag #2020judaism!

4. Download the 20/20 app - Stay tuned for announcements about the 20/20 Judaism app that you can download and use for the duration of the conference. There you'll find schedules, directions, and receive up-to-the-minute announcements about the convention in real time. You can even use the app to personalize your schedule and receive reminders about your selected sessions/ speakers.

5. Visit the exhibitor village and artists’ shuk - There, you’ll find amazing resources to bring back home to your synagogue. From online educational resources, to insurance companies specializing in synagogue policies, Israel travel advisers, and Judaica from exciting emerging artisans...the exhibitor’s village is a gold mine!

6. Attend a "table talk." During meals, certain tables will be labeled with discussion topics. All are invited to join a facilitator and fellow attendees to delve into the topic at hand. No sign up or pre-planning required! Just pull up a chair and join in.

7. Tune in to the 20/20 Judaism YouTube channel. - There, you'll find a curated video playlist featuring some of the incredible speakers and performers you will see live at the convention. It's a great way to get to know some of our featured guests before you arrive. And don't be surprised to see some amazing new videos appear on the playlist after being premiered at the convention.

8. Bring your kippah, tallit, and teffilin. - For every service on each day of the convention, 20/20 Judaism will offer multiple types of prayer experiences to suit various practices and observances. Bonus: if you're joining us for Shabbaton, you'll be able to choose from four different simultaneous Shabbat morning services.
