Youth & Education
The strength of belonging to USCJ is becoming part of a network with thousands of Conservative/Masorti synagogue leaders across North America. When your community needs support, resources, or just a listening ear, our networking team can help find the connections you need within USCJ or across the entire Movement network.

At-A-Glance:
Meet the Youth & Education Team

New Directors Institute (NDI)
NDI is THE conference for synagogue Education Directors, Early Childhood Directors, Principals, Directors of Congregational Learning, and Clergy-Educators who are new in their roles or have been hired within the past two years.
USY
After an extensive strategic process to revitalize youth engagement across our Movement, USCJ is proud to reintroduce USY: your turn-key youth group program to seamlessly attract kids and teens into synagogue life.
Join more than 150 USY chapters continent-wide to share best practices in youth engagement and build the pipeline of future leaders. Affiliated congregations can access USY chapter materials, community support, and funding opportunities.
Child & Youth Safety
Our Department of Child and Youth Protection works with member congregations to strengthen their individual child safety policies and procedures and offer guidance on handling child safety concerns. Whether it’s at a USY event or within a USCJ member congregation, we strive to foster a safe environment where children can strengthen their connection to Judaism.
