Small Congregations Gathering for leaders of synagogues with between 81-250 member units

(if your synagogue has fewer than 80 member units, we invite you to instead participate in the very small congregations leadership gathering the following day, designed for leaders of synagogues like yours.)

This will be an interactive discussion and will rely on your participation. Please come prepared to share what takes place at your synagogue along with the desire to learn from others related to the session's topic. 

Please consider the following questions ahead of time:

• How does your synagogue engage members as volunteers?
• In what ways does your congregation encourage volunteerism within the synagogue?
• What are the volunteer opportunities at your synagogue that have the most meaning for individuals?
• In what ways does the congregation track and/or manage volunteers and volunteer opportunities?
• What is your congregation's approach to preventing burn-out of volunteers?

Staff, clergy and lay leadership are welcome.

The session is scheduled for 60 minutes. In order to optimize free-flowing conversation, notes will not be taken and it will not be recorded.
