Want to be a "green leader" at your synagogue? If you seek to introduce or strengthen a variety of sustainability initiatives in your congregation, this training is for you. Join a two-part virtual training program this fall, hosted by USCJ and the Conservative movement's Social Justice Commission to learn how to become an effective Environmental Sustainability Chair at your congregation. These educational sessions are for members of synagogues and other Conservative/Masorti organizations to enable them to create the leadership structures that can advance sustainability commitments and practices within their organizations. Past participants share that this training motivated them to get more involved in their own synagogues’ environmental initiatives, and provided them content for future programs which focus on climate change.
