High Holidays with USCJ on Social Media

Share

Your story is our story and we want to feature you on our social media channels during the High Holidays. You can find ways to participate below.

During Elul, it is customary to blow the shofar each day. We want to capture that and share it to help prepare for the High Holidays. Help us get to 100 blasts!

Here’s how you can participate:

  • Record a video of a shofar blast.
  • Upload the video to your instagram story.
  • Tag us @uscj_official and use #ShofarSoGood100

Then we’ll add it to our story and our highlights to reach our goal of 100 shofar blasts by Rosh Hashanah.

Between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, exploringjudaism.org will be taking over our facebook page to offer some introspection.

You can participate by answering questions, providing more questions, sharing our posts, or simply meditating in reflection.

During the week of Sukkot, we want to see your sukkah. Think of it as a “Wish you were here!” postcard.

How you can participate:

  • Take a picture of your Sukkah
  • Send it to us on facebook or tag us on instagram
  • Include a sentence or two about your sukkah or the season

We can’t wait to share your sukkah!

This one’s pretty easy! We want to see your celebrations leading up to Simchat Torah. Are you doing a Torah roll or a parade or a party? Send the pictures to us on facebook or instagram. We want to celebrate your celebrations!
