July 23, 2020 2 Av, 5780

For many of our communities, this year has been unlike any other. As we approach the Days of Awe, we are completely re imagining what the celebration of a new year looks like, and how community comes together. As we restructure how our communities come together, it is important to understand the ways in which our decisions may impact individuals in our community. It is also a unique opportunity to design programs and experiences with equality and belonging in mind from the beginning. At the end of this 90-minute webinar, participants will be able to:

• Identify and understand the core terms and concepts related to LGBTQ identities.

Make connections between LGBTQ equality and Jewish values, particularly in the context of planning for the High Holidays.

• Identify concrete actions they can take to increase equality and belonging for LGBTQ people in their communities.

• Apply these concrete actions and best practices to their High Holiday planning process.
