Thank you for your continued support to USCJ. We do not take your commitment for granted. As a Conservative Movement we are stronger together as a network of nearly 600 synagogues across North America. United Synagogue is working hard to provide expertise, resources and support to help you navigate challenges, and take advantage of many available opportunities such as our new DIGITAL MARKET PLACE (watch for more details).

You will find attached your Membership Reporting Form (MRF). The MRF allows us to calculate dues billing on a fair and equitable basis. Please note that you must also submit a completed MRF in order to be considered for a dues reduction.

Your affiliation dues give you access to a vast portfolio of programs and services, including:

  • Leadership training through our Sulam programming
  • Guidance, tools and training to assist with financial stability, sustainability, development, fundraising and security
  • Delivering greatness to the next generation, our teens through the USY and Nativ programs
  • Operational effectiveness webinars for training, resources and other assets
  • Belonging to the ultimate organization to help promote conservative Judaism through USCJ and its vast resources

Membership Reporting Form (MRF): Flexible Options and Billing

Two years ago we introduced an option to defer your MRF submission until the end of October. Based on feedback from our member Congregations, we are continuing to offer this option for the coming year. If you choose not to submit an MRF now, we will continue to invoice you based on the current and then adjust your dues if needed when we receive this year’s MRF, no later than the end of October 2022.

Please note that the MRF is now in digital format only.

Updated Dues Discount Policy

We are pleased to once again offer a 2.5% early payment discount for synagogues whose full MRF Calculated dues are received no later December 31, 2022. In addition to a completed MRF, submission of the synagogue mailing list is required.

We have also expanded our ability to enable synagogues to pay online by setting up an ACH or other recurring dues payments. Those synagogues who have participated in making monthly or quarterly ACH recurring payments are finding the process very convenient and efficient. We encourage you to consider this payment method in the upcoming year.

Questions about online payments, dues, or the MRF can be directed to:

Barry Mael ([email protected]) or Roumi Kovachev ([email protected]).

Thank you again for your continued support and USCJ membership.

Stay healthy and safe,

Haran Rashes USCJ Dues Committee Chair
