Our Enrichment Program
A very unique component of our
children's religious education at B'nai
Shalom is the "Arts Enrichment
Program". It enhances the religious
school curriculum with art projects,
music programs, cooking projects, etc.,
which reinforces Judaic studies,
complements religious observances, and
highlights aspects of Jewish living.
However, what makes it unique is that
our own congregants take an active role
in the children's religious education by
sharing their talents and knowledge
The Sociable Shaloms
This group is composed of all members
of the B'nai Shalom congregation. Social
events are held at least six times a
year. These events take place in the
afternoon and evening, and are not just
for the elders of the congregation, but for
the younger members as well. As a new
synagogue, we think it is imperative to
make everyone feel comfortable and at
home.
