Congregation Etz Hadar now has an interactive online calendar.

The calendar can be found at calendar.yahoo.com/congregationetzhadar.

Net-savvy individuals will find everything you need at the calendar web site.  The site includes all of the navigation and printing tools you will need to make the calendar useful for you.

Not Internet-ready?  That's okay.  The calendar is not really that hard to use.  Click on the link above.  You will be taken to an appointment calendar view for the week.  If you look above the week's listings, you will see tabs for DAY or WEEK or MONTH or YEAR.  Clicking on one of these will give you a complete view for that time period.

See an event, but want more information?  Click on the calendar listing.  This will bring up all of the posted information about the event.

Want to print a calendar for posting on the refrigerator?  Choose the week or the month view.  Click on print view and a new window will appear.  Print that page and get a full week or month of events with information for each event.  The week view fits easily on a page.  Some months fill more than a page due to all of the events we have at Congregation Etz Hadar.

There is also a tab for EVENTS that will generate an event list rather than the calendar view.

At the present, events are identified by three designations.  Religious observances, Shabbat services, Board of Directors meetings, and other events are designated as MEETING.  Adult education classes are designated as CLASS.  Jewish holidays, for which we do not have an actual observance or service, are designated as HOLIDAY.

There is a search function (under advanced search) that would allow you to generate a list of just events designated as MEETING, CLASS, or HOLIDAY.
