Ongoing Support for New Jersey Solomon Schecter Days Schools

  • THE LEARNING CENTER:  Our teacher center has been open since 1980, serving principals and teachers in our region. Teachers can come and view both professionally made and teacher made materials as well as textbooks from the major Hebrew/Judaic publishers.  Staff provide a consultation service and assist teachers in producing and adapting their classroom aids.
  • CONSULTATIONS: Another supportive service offered to congregations is a close consultative relationship.  For congregations whose goal is to improve their Education program, our department is ready to work with your professional staff and lay leaders. Our department also offers ongoing support to new Principals.
  • EDUCATORS NEWSLETTER: A newsletter for Afternoon School teachers distributed twice a year, which includes upcoming workshops as well as teaching hints and ideas for the classroom
  • PRINCIPALS UPDATES/NEWSLETTER: Distributed on a bi-monthly basis, information on workshops, resource ideas and information as sent to all the principals in our region.
