A
Message from the President
Welcome to the new Mid Atlantic Region Web Site. We hope that
you
find this to be a valuable tool in helping you to discover what's going
on in the Region and also to learn about the resources available in the
Region. I believe that one of the greatest assets of United
Synagogue is that it provides a network for synagogues so that
synagogue leaders never feel that they are working alone. I
hope
that this web site will help foster the sense of connection in the
Region.
My thanks to Frank Romanoski for creating this wonderful web
site. yishar kohakha,
Frank!
We are also thrilled to reintroduce The Messenger, the MAR
newsletter, in a new electronic format. We plan for The Messenger to
appear four to six times annually between September and June, Elul and
Sivan-Tammuz.
A hearty yishar kohakha
to Richard Fishbane, MAR First Vice President and editor of The
Messenger, for publication of The Messenger and
all of his efforts. Please share your thoughts and comments with us at
mid-atlantic@uscj.org. We encourage
everyone to bring to our attention upcoming programs, educational
opportunities and events at your congregations. In particular we hope
to share new or unique ideas and concepts with everyone throughout the
region.
