The Max and Lilly Routtenberg Library is an important resource for our Hebrew School students, our synagogue members, the larger Jewish community and even our non-Jewish neighbors. It maintains an extensive and varied collection of books and periodicals dealing with all aspects of Jewish life. Under professional direction since its inception, our award-winning library offers a stimulating opportunity for individual growth and enlightenment. It provides a warm, friendly atmosphere in which readers can relax with Jewish books or listen to Jewish music. The library's reference section consists of all major Judaic encyclopedias and classical Judaic texts. Its fiction shelves house rich classical literature as well as current popular novels and short stories. The non-fiction collection includes a wide selection on history, the Bible, sociology, Israel, Jews in America, the Holocaust, and Jewish home observance. The Very Young Children's corner includes holiday and Bible stories in colorful, illustrated, easy-to-read and read-to-me books.
