TEMPLE SINAI SISTERHOOD
Sisterhood Aims
Strengthens and broadens the activities and programs of our Synagogue and Temple.
Interests its members in the beautiful religious customs and traditions of Sabbath and Holidays, both of Synagogue and in the Home.
Supports our Hebrew School and its
programs to the fullest cooperation with the
congregation of Temple Sinai.
Through Torah Fund, helps assure the
perpetuation of Judaism by supporting the education
of religious leaders.
Encourages and sponsors United Synagogue Youth and Jewish youth activities generally.
Renders its members leadership training for responsibilities as American Jewish Women.
Helps maintain the library of the Temple for dissemination of Jewish information.
Operates as a social and cultural organization for the benefits of its members.
Operates, equips, and maintains the
Kosher kitchens at the Synagogue for use on both
community and private occasions.
Develops deeper understanding and support of specified civic and philanthropic activities.
