Pre High-Holiday Shabbaton, Friday/Saturday, September 11-12. Join OSA of the Hebrew University and the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center for Conservative Judaism for a “traditional” Shabbaton at Kibbutz Hannaton in the Galil. In this rural setting we will explore the “Days of Awe” as well as experience Shabbat meals, “Zemirot” and “Tefillot.”. On the way up we will visit the Druz Village, "Dalyat Al Karmel".This co-sponsored Shabbaton is sensitive to students coming from different backgrounds and beliefs.

Cost: 120 NIS or pay with 2 OSA points. Space is limited to 40 participants. (Sign up through OSA.)
Leave from Student Village North Gate at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Bring a picnic lunch and a bathing suit for the way up.


 

Synagogue information:
Ramot Zion Conservative Synagogue, Bar Kochba 68, (behind the Mr. Zol Supermarket), is a five minute walk from Kfar Hastudentim dorms.
Daily Minyan: 6:30 a.m. (Fridays: 7:00 a.m.).
Friday night: 6:30 p.m. (during daylight savings time),
Friday Night: 20 minutes after candle lighting (during the rest of the year)
Saturday morning: 8:45 a.m.
Shabbat Mincha: 45 min. before the end of Shabbat.

Home Hospitality for Shabbat and Holidays can be arranged - but please contact us as far in advance as possible.
