The USCJ Great Lakes & Rivers Region Shabbaton & Regional Convention took place on Oct. 27-29, 2006, 5-7 Heshvan 5767 at the Sheraton Hotel @ the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

For spiritual direction throughout the weekend, we were blessed by the presence and guiding hand of Rabbi Amy Eilberg. The musical and davening elements of our Shabbaton were coordinated by one of the Conservative movement’s foremost cantors and a leader in the field of Jewish spirituality, Cantor Jack Chomsky of Tifereth Israel in Columbus, Ohio. The new regional board was installed Sunday morning.
