Stand With Israel At Your Seder!

Download "Matzah of Unity" for your Passover seder!
Each day the news from Israel gets worse. Terrorist attacks against Israelis occur each day. Morale is at an all time low. Unemployment is at record levels. It's time for us to show the world We Stand With Israel.
Passover is about renewal, about courage, about drawing strength from those around us.
So, just before Passover -- from noon to 2 pm (Eastern time) on Sunday, March 24 -- the North American Jewish Community is organizing a gathering of solidarity throughout the continent. Communities throughout North American Jewish community will come together at the same time in gatherings, large and small, across the continent to express their support for the people of Israel. So scores of communities state clearly to Israelis that we care about them. That we think about them. That we are concerned about them.
The theme of these expressions of solidarity is We Stand With Israel.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will address us live via satellite. His remarks will be available via satellite feed into communities across the continent. We anticipate that he will be joined on the satellite portion of the program by Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and/or Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, as well as Israelis who have been part of the events we have read about. Sbarros. The Dolphinarium. Moment Cafe.
Nobel Prize laureate Elie Wiesel will bring his unique perspective to those gathering in New York City. Local communities are urged to invite their civic and rabbinic leaders, other clergy and elected officials to participate.
A statement of solidarity will be the focus of ads in newspapers across North America. The declaration will also be available.
We urge you to work with the Jewish organizations, institutions and synagogues in your community on this event.

And let all Israel have a safe and hearty Passover.
