About the Department of Public Affairs

What does the Department of Public Affairs do?

As you will see simply by browsing through the Viewpoints section of our website, we do a lot!

Whether it is though mailings to congregational bulletin editors or press releases disseminated through the media, The Department of Public Affairs is charged with getting the word out.

Through the United Synagogue Review, news stories, and opinion pieces, the Department helps create and publicize information on the mission and activities of The United Synagogue.

Contact us for USCJ positions, organizational publications, and special messages for the holidays -- and don't forget to ask about our exciting video, A Partnership with a Purpose, which provides a brief glimpse into our many programs. We look forward to hearing from you. For general information relating to these web pages, send us a message or call ext. 2601 at USCJ (212) 533-7800.
