Kol Dichfin - All Who Are Hungry, Let Them Come and Eat

Pesach is approaching and Project Reconnect and NAASE (North American Association of Synagogue Executives) are working together once again. This time, we're helping college students and unaffiliated young adults find a place to go for a Pesach seder.

On the Project Reconnect website, you can find a list of congregations participating in Kol Dichfin; you may be able to tell if the synagogue is offering a seder in congregants' homes, a seat at a community seder, or both.

Once again, Project Reconnect's alumni families in Israel, members of the Masorti movement, will open their homes and their shuls to North Americans in Israel during Pesach.

We are very proud that 71 of our Conservative congregations in North America, as well as Masorti congregations in Israel, found room in their synagogues and their homes for fellow Conservative Jews through the first Project Reconnect NAASE joint initiative, "Come Home For The Holidays."

As the Hagaddah tells us, "Kol dichfin -- All who are hungry, let them come and eat..." We shall continue to bring pride, heart, and "neshama," spirit, to our movement as we take heed of those words this Pesach!

If you don't see a synagogue near you on the list, don't give up. Check this site often; the list of participating congregations grows daily. When you get in touch with a synagogue, please mention that you saw it listed on the Project Reconnect website.

If you have not signed up as an alumnus of the Conservative movement through Project Reconnect yes, please do so. To receive information about events such as these, and to be able to reconnect with many of your old friends, just go to the Project Reconnect website.
