KOACH Announces Online Job Listings for College Students

KOACH – the United Synagogue Department of College-Age Activities – has announced the launch of a new online service, designed to alert college students to job opportunities in the Jewish community. The service is available only to congregations and organizations affiliated with The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

Richard Moline, KOACH Director, notes that job listings suitable for college students will be included on the KOACH website.

Judy Yudof, USCJ President, points out that KOACH participants are an ideal target audience for congregations, particularly when a particular position requires specific skills such as the ability to speak Hebrew, or knowledge of Torah and haftarah trope. According to Ms. Yudof: “We are hopeful that creating a shiddukh (match) between committed Jewish college students and synagogues throughout North America will benefit both groups as well as the members of our congregations.
